Every Super Bowl Article!

Hello!

In honor of the Big Game tomorrow, I thought I would quickly round up the three sets of Super Bowl-related articles and put them in one easy place. I figured this way, you can easily work your way through as an alternative to the latest round of painfully unfunny commercials.

First up, a couple of years ago, I watched every single Super Bowl halftime show chronologically. Yes, the shows that Prince and Michael Jackson did are as good as you remember. But, what I bet you don’t remember is a lot of weird Disney and Up With People stuff in the 70s and 80s! This article is only missing the most recent show, with Kendrick Lamr.

Next, I also made a journey through (mostly) every post-Super Bowl television episode. Friends! The Office! Glee! The Masked Singer! All of these (and lots and lots of looong failed pilots) received write-ups in this article series. I decided to break these up by decades:

60’s and 70’s: included are many episodes of Lassie, The Wonderful World of Disney, a new Perry Mason, and 60 Minutes!

80’s: CHiPs! The A-Team! Airwolf! Macgruder and Loud! All of your favorite shows are in this one! Tubular!

90’s: the decade where the “event episode” starts gaining steam. Included are famous episode of Friends, solid entries from The Simpsons and Family Guy, and perhaps the greatest X-Files episode of all time.

00’s: Great episodes of Survivor, House and Alias can be found here, but this is mostly significant for my astonishment at really loving an episode of Grey’s Anatomy!

10’s and 20’s: you like The Voice, right? Or The Floor? Or masked singers? I sure hope you do.

Finally, earlier this year, I dropped my mega-retrospective on Cartoon Network’s Super Bowl parody THE BIG GAME, a cartoon marathon programming block that still stands as one of the most creative and goofy things my young eyes had ever seen.

Okay, that should do it! Hope you have fun this weekend! Unless you’re a Patriots fan. Just kidding. Maybe.
